A Consortium is a facilitated group of companies, run by like-minded people, who truly believe that they will never live long enough to make all the mistakes themselves. Your organization will come together and learn from each other’s experiences (good and bad) and how innovative solutions were developed.
Your organization will save valuable effort and resources by not making the same mistakes or solving the same problem by leveraging the existing knowledge of consortium members.
THE STRUCTURE – Facilitator led, member driven
Consortiums usually consist of 12 -16 organizations who share similar issues and improvement goals. You will meet with member companies on a regular basis, through board meetings, special interest groups, consortium learning events or expert education events. All consortiums are led by experienced facilitators but the members drive the direction of the consortium and hold each other accountable for moving all consortium organizations forward.
